Mark 1 thumbLong time Jaguar enthusisast and passionate Mike Hawthorn fan, Nigel Webb, once again opened his Mike Hawthorn Museum to Owners of Mark 1 Jaguars, for a very special day dedicated exclusively to this sadly overlooked model.

Although this memorable event was organised and financed entirely by Nigel Webb, it launched an important year for the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club, of which Nigel is a long-standing and well-respected member.  Once again, the event was blessed with fantastic weather and the gathering of around 45 Mark 1s made a great spectacle.  Other attractions for the guests included access to the Mike Hawthorn Museum, along with talks from Norman Dewis and Win Percy, both important Jaguar figures.

1958 Mark 1 TOX 1 at Nigel Webb'sJaguar Heritage supported this event with its black 1958 Jaguar 3.4 litre Mark 1, registration TOX 1. This well-known left hand drive car has an interesting history - click here to read more about it.
